Pelvic Pain Treatment
Chronic pelvic pain does not have to define you.
We take a holistic approach to uncover the underlying causes and develop a personalized plan to help you restore your quality of life and return to the activities you love. Pelvic pain can stem from a variety of sources, and it often affects more than just one area of your life, but you do not have to face it alone.
At Purple, we specialize in treating a range of conditions associated with chronic pelvic pain, including:
Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS)
Endometriosis
Interstitial cystitis (Painful Bladder Syndrome)
Chronic low back pain related to pelvic floor dysfunction
Hip pain linked to pelvic floor or core dysfunction
Pain from scar tissue: Cesarean sections, hysterectomies, appendectomies, or laparoscopic surgeries.
Nerve-related pain: Pudendal neuralgia, sciatica, genitofemoral or ilioinguinal neuralgia, obturator or femoral nerve irritation
Have you tried to get answers to your pelvic pain but keep being told that it’s just “in your head”?
We can assure you that pelvic pain is real, and we believe you. While pelvic pain can be very complex, there are answers and ways we can help you manage, and get full relief from, your pain.
What to expect at Purple Physical Therapy
Every session is 60 minutes, one-on-one with Dr. Sheron. You will see the same provider at every visit, which means your treatment plan is always evolving based on what's actually happening with your body, not starting from scratch each time.
Treatment is a blend of hands-on manual therapy, movement, breathwork, and individualized exercise. We look at your whole body, not just the area that hurts, because pelvic floor symptoms rarely have just one source.
We also offer both in-home and in-clinic appointments, so you can choose the setting that feels most comfortable and accessible to you.
If you have questions before booking or want a sense of what treatment might look like for you, we're happy to talk through that when you reach out.
Frequently Asked Questions about Pelvic Pain Treatment
-
Pelvic pain can be complex. At your first visit, Dr. Sheron will walk through what your plan of care may look like based on what she sees and common patterns that she has worked with before so you you’ll have an idea for how many sessions you could need.
-
While we can’t guarantee you anything (because that would be a red flag for us!) we can assure you that there are many folks who have seen other providers before they seek out pelvic health treatment, and this ends up being the place where they feel heard, validated, and truly feel progress. So we’re biased, but we would say absolutely, yes!

Every session is 60 minutes, one-on-one with Dr. Sheron. Treatment for pelvic pain always starts with a thorough evaluation, not just of the area that hurts, but of your whole body. Pelvic pain rarely has a single source, so we look at how you move, how you breathe, your posture, and how your muscles and connective tissue are functioning together.
From there, treatment is built around what your body actually needs. That might include hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, visceral mobilization, breathwork, movement retraining, or a combination of approaches. We don't use a one-size-fits-all protocol because pelvic pain doesn't work that way.
You'll also leave each session understanding what we found, what we're addressing, and why. Being informed about your own body is part of the process, not an afterthought.
The goal is not just to reduce your pain in the short term. It's to find the root cause, address it, and make sure you have the tools to stay out of pain long after you've finished PT.
